The Sand Inn Phuket chose uPVC double glazing to reduce client complaints about noise from the streets surrounding the Inn, the retention rate for clients had risen significantly now and and clients checking due to the noise issue has stopped as well as picking up business from other surrounding hotels without double glazing.

Q: Why is uPVC superior to Aluminium and timber.
A: uPVC provides a long lasting product that does not require painting or maintenance, if its scratched it wont corrode like Aluminium, the entire window unit is weld together so there is never any play in the unit after time that can let in dust and unwanted bugs, uPVC being a multi channel extrusion unlike aluminium doesnt transfer heat providing a cooler interior.
Q: How Much can Double glazing save on Engery bills and noise.
A: Double glazing saves on energy bills and reduces noise up to 90% and save up to 50% on energy costs.
Q: Why do Casement seal ebtter than Sliding?
A: There is a difference with double glazing that needs to be taken into account, if you choose sliding units where the two units slide past each other the only seal is a brush seal, this is not as good as sealing as a casement unit that has a full rubber seal all the way around the opening unit.
Q: Why are casement windows more expensive than Sliding?
A: The Casement units are more expensive due to the hard ware involved compared to a sliding units which basically just has a set of rollers in place of expensive hinges.
